Linda Liu, MD

Linda Liu is a board-certified critical care anesthesiologist who works in the intensive care unit taking care of critically ill patients. Linda has over 20 years of experience and in that time has seen treatments come and go based on the prevailing research, but the bottom line has always been to “do no harm” while the human body heals itself. She recognizes that this idea also applies to ventilator management, where it is important to avoid injuring the lungs further while providing the support that the patient needs, which is why it is so important to develop a ventilator that is capable of working with the patient.

Linda has a MD from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and completed an anesthesia residency followed by a critical care fellowship also at UCSF
